Frederick Foundling, 92 of Beverly Hills, Florida died on Monday, October 4, 2010. He was born in Portsmouth, England on June 29, 1918 to Jonas and Florence (Gains) Foundling. Mr. Foundling was a retired millwright and volunteered during WWII as a Home Guard while living in England. He was of the Protestant faith and a Third Degree Mason. Fred enjoyed golf, watching soccer on t.v., chess and was an award winning ballroom dancer.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Elsie I. (Woods) Foundling of Lecanto, Florida; son, Nigel K. Foundling and wife Colleen of Lebanon, Pennsylvania; daughter, Glenis Webb of Houston, Texas; brother, Joe Foundling of Ephrata, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Mandy Foundling and Keith Foundling both of Marietta, Pennsylvania, Terri St. Clair and husband Philip Borwaski of Rockwall, Texas and Michael Allen St. Clair of Lancaster, California.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Citrus County.
A Memorial Service of Remembrance will take place on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Fero Funeral Home, 5955 N. Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, Florida 34465.
