Dear Cousin Marie and family,

I was so saddened to hear the news of your Dad's passing and would like to express my sincere condolences to you all. I knew him as Uncle Johnny, always smiling and happy when he visited when I was a kid. My Dad spoke of him often with love and I feel most saddened by the fact that he was the last of the "original" Giampapas to pass. Hopefully the memory of his smile will ease your pain.
