Joseph N. Grivois

Joseph was born October 22, 1932 in Van Buren, Maine the son of the late Henry and Theresa (Boudreau) Grivois.

He was a retired manufacturing manager with AT&T. Joseph served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6168, Lecanto, FL and in 1967 became a member of the 4th Degree Knight Assembly and a member of Council 1547, Inverness, Fl.. Joseph loved Golfing, Woodworking, Bowling and most especially his family.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Jeannine, 3 daughters Theresa Jakeway of Lecanto, FL, Debra Grivois of Cincinnati, Ohio and Tina and her husband Joseph Dawson of Doylestown, Pa., 3 sons Michael Grivois and his wife Chris of Mesa, AZ., John Grivois and his wife Debbie Ann of Lewisville, TX. and Gary Grivois of Crystal River, Fl., 3 brothers Eugene Grivois and his wife Virginia of N. Londonderry, NH., Thomas Grivois of Manchester, NH. and Joseph R. Grivois and his wife Sandra of Lecanto, Fl. 3 sisters Jeannine Hodgdon of Lecanto, Fl., Rachel Akerley of St. Leonard, NB, Canada, and Carlene Grivois of O’Fallon, MO.,15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Joseph was predeceased by his son in law Terry ‘Jake’ Jakeway, and his sister Joan Galvin.

Friends and family may visit at Fero Funeral Home 5955 N. Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, Fl. On Thursday December 10, 2015 from 2 – 4 and 6 - 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church 455 S. Suncoast Blvd, Crystal River, Fl. on Friday December 11, 2015 at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at Fero Memorial Gardens, Beverly Hills, Fl.

Memorial donations may be made to either Hospice of Citrus County and the Nature Coast or St. Benedict’s Catholic Church.
