Josephine Marie Francis passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 6, 2017. Josephine was born on December 15, 1940 in Boston, Mass. She was the youngest of two children to Salvatore and Rose Albanese. She leaves her husband and best friend Joe, the love of her life for 56 years. She leaves two daughters, Maria and Karen. Maria and her husband Joseph Levrault live in Ormond Beach, Florida. Karen Wickson lives in Billerica, Massachusetts. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Jennifer, Christen, Brian, and Joseph. Josephine and Joe moved to Crystal River in 1995 and enjoyed the retired life. Her hobbies included golfing, word games, crossword puzzles, playing cards with her many girlfriends, traveling locally and eating out. In her working years she worked for the First National Bank of Boston. After retiring she worked part-time as a proofreader for the Merrimack Valley Advertiser. She was loved by all of her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
