Josephine A McNally

She was born in Red Bank, New Jersey on June 12, 1936. Daughter of George & Lucille O’Brien.

Joann graduated from Rumson High School in 1954. She met the love of her life in Belmar, New Jersey. Joann and Thomas P. McNally, Jr. were married on September 7, 1963 and spent the next 58 years together enjoying life.

Joann had a career in telecommunications for Jersey Bell, Bell South and AT&T from which she retired. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church and Women of the World.

She had a passion for her family and grandchildren, traveling, especially river boat cruises throughout Europe, knitting, mahjong, canasta, and dominos. She had a large circle of friends and will be dearly missed.

She was survived by her daughter Marilyn Castaline (Jay), grandchildren, Jay Dustin, Tyler, Wyatt and Curtis. Stepsister Angela, nephews, Bill, Thomas and David Stacey and many cousins.

Joann was predeceased by her husband, Thomas P. McNally, and parents George and Lucille O’Brien.

A visitation for Joann will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at Fero Funeral Home & Life Celebration Center, 5955 N. Lecanto Hwy Beverly Hills, FL 34465 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Beverly Hills at 11:00AM. Catholic Rite of Committal Service at 12:15PM at Fero Memorial Gardens. Celebration of Life luncheon immediately following at Fero Funeral Home & Life Celebration Center.
