June E. Chando Gonder

June Chando Gonder (nee Bower) went to heaven on April 6th 2022, aged 94. In her final years she was lovingly cared for by her daughter in Inverness, FL, Mary Ann Camisa (Andrew.) She is also survived by her daughter Patricia Duckles (John) of NJ and her youngest son Edward (Nancy) of MA and oldest son, John (Joanne) of Fort Myers. She leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren. June was predeceased by her first husband of nearly 50 years, John Chando and her younger brother Edward as well as her sisters Edwardine and Mary Jane. She also is survived by a sister Helen Scudder of NJ and a second husband, Richard Gonder of Ocala.

June was a Morris County, New Jersey native. In 1987 she retired with her husband to Beverly Hills, Florida where she enjoyed crafting, bowling, decorating and gardening. June was also a devoted mother and wife as well as a faithful member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Inverness.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to Citrus Health & Rehabilitation Center in Inverness will be gratefully appreciated by her family for the tender kindness and caring shown to both June and her family in her final days & hours.

A funeral mass for June will be celebrated Tuesday, 11am, April 19th, 2022 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 550 US Highway 41 South, Inverness, Florida 34450. Following the funeral mass will be a committal service at 12:30 PM at Fero Memorial Gardens, 5891 North Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, Florida 34465.
