He was born in East Peoria IL to Glenn & Louise (Dozard) Rogers on May 26th, 1940. Ken served proudly during the Korean war conflict in the United States Air Force, and was a 27-year member of the American Legion post 77. He also organized and helped to charter the Legion Riders Chapter 77. He was a man of many talents, Bob Ross certified painting instructor, Renshinkan karate Blackbelt and instructor and Dojo owner, Country Music entertainer and songwriter, and many other talents.
He was preceded in death by 2 Grandsons Spencer Simmons, and Nicholas Rogers, 1 brother William Rogers.
Surviving are close personal friend and partner Barb Hall, Son's Greg (Kristina) Rogers, Kay (Pam) Rogers II, Kenny (Justine) Rogers, Nick (Melanie) Rogers, Robert (Barbra Sloan) Rogers, Donald (Sandy) Rogers, Darryl (Deb) Rogers, and Daughters Donna (Grant) Cordes, Karen (Rob) Hall, Kathy Solis. Brothers Glenn Rogers, Chuck Rogers, John Rogers, sisters Sandy (Ron) Armstrong, and Leona Knickerbocker, and a host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and family.
There will be a viewing on Thursday April 12 from 4-7 at Fero Funeral Home 5955 N. Lecanto Hwy, Beverly Hills Florida 34465. He will be escorted by the Legion Riders and Patriot Guard and placed to rest at the Florida National Cemetery on Friday April 13th at 2 PM located in Bushnell Fl.
