Lawrence and his wife of 51 years were residents of Naperville, Illinois for 32 of those years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was also a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Lawrence was a former Financial Director until his retirement. He loved spending time with his family. Gregarious by nature, he loved socializing by the pool and telling jokes. He was also quite fond of traveling.
Lawrence is survived by his loving wife Linda of Hernando, 2 daughters Melinda Rooker and her husband Allen, and Tania Ricken and her husband Jeremy. He also had 4 loving grandchildren Nicholas and Nina Rooker, as well as Paul and Elizabeth Ricken.
Family and friends may visit at the Fero Funeral Home 5955 N. Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, FL. On Thursay July 6th from 10:00 am to 12:00 am with a family sharing at 11 am. Interment will follow at the Fero Memorial Gardens, Beverly Hills, FL. There is a reception to follow at the family’s residence.
