She loved Lawrence Welk, playing puzzles on her Kindle, and listening to German Music in her car. She took great pride in her German heritage but upon coming to the United States at the age of 18 she was quick to perfect her English and attributed her fast learning to her love of reading. She had a well-used library card. She loved to travel yet was also a very private woman. You could often find her working and gardening in her yard. Margaret retired from Publix after over 20 years of providing excellent service, and after retirement she enjoyed her love of cruising, her cats, and working in her yard.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Heinrich and Josefa Becker, her brothers Franz and Alois, and her husband Walter Hade.
Her beloved pets: PG (kitty), Candy (kitty), Missy (pup), Shakey (pup), Zipper (kitty), Duke (pup), Hazel (pup), Patton (pup), Sheba (kitty), Sport (pup), Candy (kitty), Snowball (kitty)
She is survived by her daughters Carmen, Sandra and Sylvia, her nephews Horst and Peter, her niece Annaliese, her grandchildren Leslie, Connor, Sam, Sydney, Jordan and Jack, her great grandchildren Jessie, Alec, Raelyn and her beloved kitty Max. A Memorial Service was held Thursday, April 15th at Fero Funeral Home, Beverly Hills, Florida.
