Maria Casola left this earth and went to be with her Lord on February 9, 2023. Maria was born in Positano, Italy on June 17, 1939. Growing up, Maria helped her parents and family with chores on their small farm. In 1961 she got married to her loving husband, Joseph, who preceded her in death. Prior to his death they were married for 60 years and had 3 sons.
In 1968, Maria and Joseph, along with their 2 sons moved to the United States and settled in New York. In 1974, they had their third son and moved to New Jersey where Maria assisted her husband in the restaurant business. In 1982, she and her family moved back to New York where she and her husband owned a restaurant along with owning several apartment buildings and a small hobby farm.
Maria was an avid gardener, cook and homemaker. She loved her family and friends, she loved to cook for and feed all visitors who walked through her door.
Maria is survived by 3 sons, 3 daughters in law, and 4 grandchildren. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter in law, a grandchild, a sister and brother. She has 3 sisters and a brother who live in Italy.
Maria will forever be loved and sorely missed by her family and friends. Her absence from this earth will be felt.
A visitation for Maria will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. All will be held at Fero Funeral Home, 5955 North Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, FL 34465. A committal service will occur Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Fero Memorial Gardens, 5891 North Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, FL 34465.
