Martha S. Lunde, 80 of Hernando, Florida passed away on Monday, July 25, 2011 in the loving care of her family and Hospice of Citrus County. Martha was born in Lista, Norway on Thursday, March 12, 1931 to Oscar and Margrethe (Stillufsen) Andersen. She was a homemaker, a member of Evangelical Free Church in Teaneck, N.J., the Citrus Hills Women's Club and spent many hours volunteering for RSVP.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Ole A. Lunde on April 29, 2009.
Survivors include her daughter, Irene E. Lunde-Nichols of Tennessee; sisters, Astri Torkelsen and husband Lars of Long Island, New York and Tordis Roland and husband Tor of Hernando, Florida; grandson, Eric Lars Neilsen of Orlando, Florida; niece, Irene Messenger and husband Ortie of Miramar Beach, Florida and many other nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Broadcasting Network.
Funeral services are private and burial will take place at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
