Marvin L. Brigner, 78 was born on December 3, 1939 and passed away on March 19, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret (Jinks) and Lawrence Brigner; sister, Rowena Stange; brother, Lawrence Brigner and infant brother, Lloyd Brigner. Marvin was a 1957 graduate of Walnut Township High School. A hard working foreman, he was one of the best rodbusters in Central Ohio and a proud member of Ironworkers Local 172. Whatever Marvin did, he always did his best. Those who knew him probably heard him say more than once that "anything worth doing is worth doing right." After retiring, he and his wife left Groveport and made their home in Beverly Hills, Florida.
Marvin was very passionate about spending time with his family, treasuring each and every visit, always looking forward to the next one - especially with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Just a wee bit competitive, he enjoyed many activities. He played softball for many years in Ohio. He was an avid bowler and very proud of each of his four perfect 300 games. Golfing was also a passion (you might just find a bent club or two in an Ohio course pond - ha!), as was his love of playing cards.
He will be missed by all who knew him including his poker buddies, friends, neighbors and especially his family - including his little guys, Harry and "Daddy's baby" Henry. Marvin is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn "Billie," their three children and spouses: Merrilie (Greg) Munsey, Marvin Andrew "Andy" (Schranetta) Brigner and Mark (Ronda) Brigner; nine grandchildren: Amy (Matt), Kristen (Dieter), Corbin, Dominic, Brock, Marc, Ashton, Mallory (Tom), Devon (Jordan) and three great grandchildren: Connor, Breccan and Benjamin.
