Mary Pehoda, 95, of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina was formerly of Beverly Hills, Florida from 1978 until 2011, passed away on February 15, 2014. Mary was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on October 13, 1918 to Walter and Nellie (Smietana) Buczek. She came to Beverly Hills from Queens, New York after retiring from IBM. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, the Beverly Hills Garden Club and VFW Women’s Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Pehoda; son, John Pehoda and daughter, Margie Gribben.
Survivors include her daughters, Christina Magas and Helen Rice; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Visitation, Friday, February 20, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with Chapel Service at 11:00 AM at Fero Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fero Memorial Gardens.
