My dearest sweet Aunt Mary... Today was a happy -sad day for me. 
Sad because I won't be able to talk to you on the phone as we did daily. Sad because my heart is broken & I know until we meet again that piece won't come together .Happy because I know you are in heavenly bliss
with the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior. Happy because you loved me so much& I love you forever. You had such a big heart full of love for all your family & friends & people you didn't even meet but if you heard about there needs you would put them on your prayer list which was longer than a big shopping list. You ran a great race. Now it's your time to soar like the Eagle sign we got today from God.
I am so happy you loved me all of my life . I thank you & will keep you close to my heart. The angel you gave me is the first thing I see in the morning & the last thing at night. Happy because you are free of all pain. Your journey here was well done. Your journey & joy in heaven has just begun. Until we meet again I will do my best to be the caring loving genuine person you can be proud of.

Mary was a special lady.  She was always kind and loving to every member of our family.I will miss her dearly. She is now in the loving arms of Jesus free of pain. I'm sure she's with her loving husband Lou,and all our deceased relatives. I believe she was greeted with open arms even though we on earth will miss her.  Lord please give her children, grandchildren and family the strength they need to get through this very difficult time. May God's peace be with all of you. I am not able to be there in body but in mind and heart I am.

Arlene & family: So sorry to hear the news of your mom's passing. She has been thru enough & God knew it was time for her to go with Him.  All of u  are left with wonderful memories for the time u spent together.  May she rest in peace & God give u the strength to get thru these next few days. Always rough around the holidays.

It was a very sad day when I heard about my Aunt Mary.  Although I was sad, the first thought I had was, ahh she's finally with Uncle Louie again, and that made me smile. Almost all of my childhood memories include her.  I will always remember her and  she will always be in my heart.  I will miss her.  She was one of a kind, and a very special lady.  ??

May you rest in peace in God's arms with our family that has already gone to him! You will be great missed! So many happy memories over the years and we cherish them all!! We love you and will miss you!!

To know Mary was to love her. When wintering in Florida, Eileen and I always had a wonderful time with her, whether at the Hard Rock Casino, Disney, or at her home where she taught Eileen how to make her famous manicotti. 
God has blessed her with a wonderful family and a wonderful life. Mary will be missed, but will always be loved.

MY EULOGY AND MEMORIAL TO MY AUNT MARY

My dear Aunt Mary Laviola Saia has passed from earthly death to heavenly life. As a 10 year old boy in Paterson, New Jersey, I can vividly remember when my Aunt Mary married her husband Louis Saia. My father James Occhipinti was asked to be the godfather of their first born child Arlene. This developed into a close knit relationship between our families. My dear mother Margaret was the oldest of  6 children and my dear Aunt Mary was the youngest. As a teen ager I was involved in the rock n' roll music field, but accepted Jesus as my personal Saviour at the age of 17 in 1957. Entering Bible College prepared me to minister to the lost, the needy, the homeless and the sick. My dear Aunt Mary always respected me not only as her nephew, but also as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and often asked me to pray for her and her family. As we grew older we were separated by long distances but always kept in contact with each other. I loved my Aunt Mary and have the assurance from God's Holy Word that we shall be reunited together in heaven in the very near future. She has now joined her loving mother Concetta and loving father Donato, along with her dear husband Louis, her sisters Margaret, Theresa, Louise and brothers Joe and Frank. There are countless other close relatives too numerous to mention, who also have welcomed her into heaven. A big thank you to my dear Cousin Arlene, who stood by her mothers side right up until the time Jesus called her home to heaven. My dear Aunt Mary's suffering is over and she is now at peace with the Lord and the Holy Angels. Thank you for the beautiful memories Aunt Mary and I will now say, "Goodnight, I will see you in the morning".
