Metha Roseanne Sanford

Metha Roseanne Sanford, 68, of Inglis, Florida entered into the gates of Heaven on Friday, June 24, 2022. She was born on October 1, 1953 in Plant City, Florida, to Gadi Nichols and Betty Price Nichols.

She was proceeded in death by: her mother, father, three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Mackie Sanford of Inglis, Florida, daughter Melody Sanford Carson of Inglis, Florida (Winston H. Carson), Patricia P. Turcotte of Holiday, Florida (Robert Turcotte), Catherine Lee Roth of Land O’ Lakes, Florida (Timothy Roth), sister Linda Williams of Marston, North Carolina (Larry Williams), grandchildren Christina Carson, Andrew Roth, Heather Carson, Shelby Carson, Alexis Turcotte, Dawson Roth, great-grandchildren Braylen Morgan, Ashlyn Roth, Adalyn Roth, Mila Windsor and Aubrey Roth.

Metha taught at Yankeetown School for 31 years. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, fishing, and spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren and family. She had a kind and loving spirit. She was fiercely protective of and proud of her family. However, her generosity and warmth extended to all she met. To know her, was to love her. Services will be held at Fero Funeral Home at 5955 N Lecanto Hwy, Beverly Hills, FL on Friday, July 8th at 10:00 AM. Graveside services to follow at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 S.W. 102nd Avenue Bushnell, FL.
