Crystal River, Fl – Muriel Dolores Raffa, 75, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Homemaker, passed away on Monday December 15, 2025, in Tampa, Fl, surrounded by her family. Born in Brooklyn, New York to William and Muriel Smith on May 15th, 1950. Known to everyone as Dolores. She married Frank Raffa on February 7th, 1970. In 1989 she moved to Crystal River FL from Lindenhurst, NY. She was preceded in death by her parents and five of her siblings (Claire, Frank, William, John, and May). Some of her favorite things were painting statues to put out in the yard, decorating for the holidays, cooking, playing online Facebook games, and of course her family. She was full of energy and life. While in New York, she was a driver for Baumann & Sons Bus Co. She attended St. Benedict Catholic Church in Crystal River. Survived by her Husband Frank, children; Frank Raffa of Altamonte Springs, Annmarie Raffa of Crystal River, and Dolores Errion (son-in-law Michael) of Clearwater, Grandson Aaron Sims. Her siblings; Alfred Smith of Citrus Springs, Barbra Ritrovato of Citrus Springs and Joseph Smith (Cynthia) of New York. She also had many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly. A Celebration of Life memorial will be held on Monday December 22 from 4pm to 7pm at Fero Funeral Home in Beverly Hills, FL.
