Nancy J. Beers

Nancy Jeanne Beers (Holmes) of Beverly Hills, FL was called home on June 8, 2017, at the age of 76. Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, James Edward Beers; three daughters, Cindy Beers of Beverly Hills, FL, Karen Brown (husband Steve) of Rockville, MD and Lori Schrump (husband Kenny) of Inverness, FL; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Phillip Holmes II (wife Ann) of Rock Hill, NC and Ronald Holmes (wife Sue) of Springfield, VA.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Anne Holmes of Laurel, MD, and her sister Joyce Dunham of Dryden, NY.

Nancy was born on July 4, 1940, in Washington, DC. She, along with her husband James, raised their three daughters in Wheaton, MD. After working many years for the Federal Government, she retired to the sunny state of Florida.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and was actively involved in her church. Her hobbies included traveling, painting, and loving on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service is being held on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., Fero Funeral Home, 5955 N Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, FL 34465. Pastor Douglas Alexander will officiate the ceremony.

Immediately following the service, reception will follow at New Church Without Walls (NCWOW) 300 S Kensington Avenue, Lecanto, FL 34461.

All are welcome to attend and celebrate Nancy's life.
