

Paul Wayne Curry, 65, of Floral City, FL., passed away on Fri., Nov. 29, 2013 at his home. A native of Champaign, IL., he was born Jan. 16, 1948 to Delmar and Lorraine (Rowlen) Curry, one of three children. Mr. Curry was a U.S. Navy veteran from 1965 to 1969 and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a heavy equipment operator by profession and moved to Citrus County in 1981 from Bradenton, FL. Paul was a longtime member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter#70, Inverness, where he had served as their Secretary and Treasurer. Mr. Curry was a talented photographer during his life, but was most well known locally for his woodcrafting skills, making walking canes by hand. He is survived by his wife of nearly 21 years, Clara E. Curry, Floral City; son Michael W. Curry (wife Inyoung), Clearwater; son Timothy W. Curry, Bradenton; daughter Tina Huber (husband Rodney), Fort Sill, OK; son Robert Thomas (wife Elisia), Floral City, sisters Juanita Cale (husband John), Hernando, FL and Judy Conkrite (husband Jerry) of Crawfordsville, IN; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his parents. A Memorial Service of Remembrance will be held on Wed., Dec. 4th at 12:00 Noon at Fero Funeral Home, Beverly Hills, with military honors rendered by the Disabled American Veterans Chapter #70 and the U.S. Navy.
