Perkins G. Gaillard, Jr., 78 of Dunnellon, Florida passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013 in Ocala, Florida. He was born in Columbia, South Carolina on Monday, September 16, 1935 to Perkins G. Gaillard, Sr. and Charlotte (Jahnz) Gaillard. Perkins was a retired mechanical engineer and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed golfing, his motorcycle, racing dirt bikes and racing autocross.
Perkins was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Sue Marshall Gaillard on December 15, 2005 and son, William Marshall Gaillard.
Survivors include his son, J.C. Gaillard of Summerville, South Carolina; daughters, Charlotte E.J. Allbright and husband Jerry of Melstone, Montana and Marla Gay Bracett of Atlanta, Georgia; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral Service, Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 4:30 PM with visitation following from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Fero Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park in Charleston, South Carolina.
