Philip (“Bob”) Holz graduated from Seton Hall High School and received a bachelor’s degree in English from Mount St. Mary’s College and a master’s degree in education from Hofstra University. He was married to Patricia Maines on 6/22/1963. Philip (Bob) had a career in teaching for Middle Country School District. He was a member of several antique car clubs over the years and had a passion for classic cars and his dogs Peaches and Misty.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia, his daughter Suzanne Meola (her husband Basil), his daughter Ruthie Elledge (her husband Chris), his son Marc Holz (fiancé Ashlee Allen), grandchildren Christian Elledge, Stephanie Holz, Justin Elledge, Grace Holz, Katherine Meola, and Jonathan McGee, and his sisters Carol Holz and Susan Antola (her husband Dennis). Philip is predeceased by his father, Philip Holz, and mother, Florence Lucas Holz.
