Phyllis A. James, 88 of Ocala, Florida died on Saturday, May 21, 2011 in the loving care of her family. Phyllis was born in Trenton, New Jersey on Tuesday, December 5, 1922 to Leroy and Emma (Marti) Landerfield. She moved to this area in 1967 from Mt. Holly, New Jersey. Phyllis was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and enjoyed RVing, camping, fishing, boating, the beach and loved animals.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Russell S. James, Sr.
Survivors include her son, Russell S. James, Jr. and wife Sally of Dunnellon, Florida; daughters, Virginia Hill of New Jersey and Doreen Delisle and husband Dave of Ocala, Florida; grandchildren, Joseph Hill and wife Lisa of New Jersey, Robert Hill of New Jersey, Shawn James and wife Cindy of Georgia, Corrie James of Florida and Dustin and David Delisle, both of Florida; great grandchildren, Justin James of Georgia, Scott Hill of New Jersey, Alexis James of Florida and Aleah Whitley James of Florida.
A Memorial gathering will take place at Fero Funeral Home, 5955 N. Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, Florida 34465 on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with a Chapel Service at 2:30 P.M. Burial will follow at Fero Memorial Gardens.
