Richard A. Bixler, Sr., 75 of Beverly Hills, Florida died on Monday, March 25, 2013. Richard was born on Friday, April 16, 1937 in Painesville, Ohio to Clarence and Wilma (Swiger) Bixler. He was a retired electrician and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Richard enjoyed hunting, traveling, operating his ham radio and watching television. He truly loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Dorothy Bixler of Beverly Hills, Florida; son, Richard Bixler, Jr. and wife Michelle of Beverly Hills, Florida; daughters, Debra Cunningham and husband Patrick of Herrin, Illinois and Denise Bixler of Colbert, Georgia; brother, Garfield Bixler of Painesville, Ohio; sister, Ada Fry and husand Earl of Painesville, Ohio; grandchildren, Richard Bixler, III and wife Katie of Blue Ridge, Georgia, Rhonda Ballard and husband Nigel of Mansfield, Georgia, Whitney Forde and husband Maurice of Lake Wales, Florida and Landon Myers and wife Brittany of Lake Wales, Florida and great grandchildren, Philip Ballard and Aubree Ballard, both of Mansfield, Georgia, Hayden Myers of Lake Wales, Florida and Richard Bixler, IV of Blue Ridge, Georgia.
