

Robert William Nast, 64, of Beverly Hills Florida, went home to the Lord early Tuesday morning August 2, 2016. He passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family and Palliative care from Hospice of Citrus County. He was born December 10, 1951 in Denver Colorado to Willis W. Nast and Jean B. Nast. He married, the love of his life, Jewel A. Schehl on January 8, 1977 (Elvis’s Birthday) and she survives.
Also surviving are his one daughter Diana Amereno of Scottsdale Arizona, three sons, William(Erin) Nast and son Jonah of Citrus Springs FL, James(Daria) Nast of Citrus Springs FL and Robert J. Nast (Lori Bixler) of Beverly Hills FL; One granddaughter and grandson, Alex and Vinny Amereno of Scottsdale Arizona; one brother James(Cynthia)Nast of Tinley Park IL; three nieces Tori and Jillian Nast and Lexi (Matt) Harris, and one great niece Chelsea Rose Harris.
Robert’s father Willis W. Nast and mother Jean B. Nast as well as his father-in-law Julius “Harry” Schehl preceded him in death.
Robert spent his early years on the north side of Chicago, then moved to Oak Forest, IL. There he attended and graduated from Carl Sandberg high school in 1969. He went on to become a highly decorated Finance Manager in the automobile industry. He raised his family in and around the suburbs of Chicago and later retired to Florida. His three boys eventually all joined him and Jewel in Florida.
Bob loved the freedom of riding a motorcycle and being on the open road. He loved even more taking long car rides and Sunday afternoon drives with his family. He loved to talk and spend time with his family and friends. He loved decorating for the holidays and having the brightest house on the block. He loved camping and the outdoors and he loved to travel. He loved to play the piano and played so very beautifully. He loved his dogs. But most importantly, without fail, he always put others needs ahead of his own personal needs. Setting an example of being both generous and persistent in the pursuit of helping others. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends and anyone whom had the privilege of knowing him.
A Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday, August 16th at 11:00 AM at Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church. 4221 West Gulf to Lake Hwy, Lecanto FL 34461. Pastor Chad Townsley will be officiating. Immediately following the service, lunch will take place at Joes Family Restaurant. Located at 911 W Main St, Inverness, FL 34450. Arrangement entrusted to Fero Funeral Home, Beverly Hills, Florida.
