Robert J. 'Bobby' Schelberg, 59 of Crystal River, Florida died on Thursday, May 6, 2010. He was an Assistant Market Manager employed for fifteen years with Winn-Dixie in Dunnellon, Florida. He was born in New Jersey and moved to this area from Miami, Florida.
Bobby enjoyed golfing, riding his motorcycle and working out at the gym. He was the most unselfish guy you could ever meet and loved to help people.
Survivors include his wife, together for 16 years; Barbara Schelberg of Crystal River, Floirda; son, Alan Curry and fiancee Cindy of Citrus Springs, Florida; daughter, Caroline Prestidge and husband Adam of Homosassa, Florida; parents, Dick and Jere Schelberg of Georgia; brother, Rick Schelberg and wife Jeanette of New Jersey; sisters, Diane Travis and husband Greg of Mississippi and Leanne Guskey of Michigan; grandchildren, Tyler, Noah, Ethan and Hannah Prestidge, all of Crystal River, Florida and Kaleb and Taylor Curry both of Citrus Springs, Florida.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Fero Funeral Home, 5955 N. Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, Florida with a Memorial Service of Remembrance following at 5:00 PM.
