

Roberto Ferraro, 81, of Beverly Hills, Florida, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Shands Hospital at University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida. A native of Vizzini, Italy, he was born November 2, 1933 to Michele and Gaetana (Giarrusso) Ferraro, one of seven children. Mr. Ferraro was a retired maintenance supervisor for the New York City Transit Authority with 22 years of service and moved to Beverly Hills 23 years ago from Brooklyn, New York. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Beverly Hills, and a member of Knights of Columbus, Fourth Degree, where he was a past District Deputy. Roberto was also a member of the Citrus County New York City Transit Authority Retired Employee Association. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Frances Ferraro of Beverly Hills; his daughters Donna Jones (husband Andrew), Staten Island, New York and Anna Semons (husband Joseph), Citrus Springs, Florida; brother Dr. Arnaldo Ferraro, Brooklyn, New York; sisters Maria Lentini, Francofonte, Italy; Ida Nastasi, Queens, New York and Paula Hawk, Anaheim, California; grandchildren Lauren Aceto (husband Anthony, Sicklerville, New Jersey; Christine Jones, Staten Island, New York; Kristen and Daniel Clubb and Cynthia Semons, all of Citrus Springs, Florida and great grandchildren Anthony Gabriel Aceto, Tori Clubb and Autumn Farr. In adfdition to his parents, Roberto was preceded in death by two brothers, Giuseppe and Gianni Ferraro. Friends will be received on Tues., Feb. 3, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at Fero Funeral Home, Beverly Hills, Florida. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wed., Feb. 4, 2015 at 9:00 A.M. from Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Beverly Hills, Florida.
