

Shirley Moore (Brown), born on November 10, 1950, passed away on May 11, 2025, at the age of 74 in Beverly Hills, FL, after a valiant battle with cancer. Shirley was a beacon of strength and resilience, supported throughout her illness by her devoted husband of 20 years, Albert Moore.
Shirley was a graduate of Dubois Area High School and spent much of her professional life at Rockwell/Sensus Dubois, where she was known for her dedication and work ethic. Beyond her career, Shirley's life was filled with joy derived from simple pleasures. She cherished time with her family and found great enjoyment in traveling with her husband. Shirley was also an avid bingo player and enjoyed visits to the casino, embracing the excitement each experience brought.
She is survived by her loving husband, Albert Moore; daughter, Gwendolyn Mensinger and her husband Mark; grandsons, Brandon Lougee and his wife Melissa, and Cole Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Ava Meanor and Ryder Lougee. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Frank J. and Lottie L. (Boyer) Brown; brothers Jack, Raymond, Ralph, Robert, and Joseph Brown; and sisters Carol Foore, Cleo Ritchey, and June Hall.
In keeping with Shirley's wishes, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Vitas Hospice Care in Lecanto with thanks to the great care they provided Shirley in her final months. Shirley's legacy of strength, love, and perseverance will continue to inspire all who knew her.
