Shirley H. Perry was born in New London, CT on February 23, 1929 and passed away on October 30, 2015 in Lecanto, FL where she resided. Shirley’s parents were James Ferdinand McKernan and Gladys Bump McKernan, both deceased. Shirley was married to John Frederick Perry, deceased, and is survived by her three sons: Frederick Sean Perry of Whitesville, KY; Frederick Scott Perry of Lecanto, FL; and Robert Brittan Perry of San Ramon, CA. A fourth son, James Goldsmith Perry passed away in July of 2001. Shirley has two grandchildren: Duncan Thomas Case-Perry of Lakewood, OH; and Kaitlyn Rose Perry of San Ramon, CA. Shirley is also survived by her two sisters, Catherine Jean Swanson of Lecanto, FL and Barbara Ruth Bourne of Oakdale, CT. Two brothers are deceased: Joseph Bernard McKernan and James F. McKernan, Jr. Visitation will be at the Fero Funeral Home in Beverly Hills, FL on Sunday, November 8, 2015 starting at 12:30 PM with the memorial service starting at 2:30 PM and a gravesite service following at Fero Memorial Gardens.
