Stanislaus Francis Warhol, known to many as “Stan” or “Stash”, of Beverly Hills, FL and formerly of Howell, NJ, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026, with his beloved wife, Mary Louise, by his side. He had a wonderful life of 96 years. Born on March 23, 1930, in Bayonne, NJ, he lived most of his life in Howell, NJ before moving to Florida in 1995.
Stan had many interests and enjoyed several hobbies. He especially liked building model airplanes, was an avid photographer, loved old horror movies and mastered the challenging and tricky art of upholstery. Given his love of aviation, Stan earned his private pilot’s license and owned a single engine Cessna aircraft—always a ‘high-wing man.’ He also enjoyed boating, crabbing, and fishing. Stan was an amazing host with swim parties and picnics held at his home being the highlight of the family’s summer. He also enjoyed camping and traveling the country with his fully loaded van. Stan loved to dance--his favorite was the polka—and attended many Polka Festivals over the years.
Stan was a veteran of the US Army; he served our country from 1951 to 1953. He proudly worked at US Steel for 25 years and worked at the Mercer County Airport in Ewing NJ, maintaining US Steel corporate aircraft. He also worked at the US Naval Engineering Station at Lakehurst Naval Base (now Joint Base McGuire-Dix Lakehurst) for 10 years.
Stan was married to his beloved wife, Mary Louise (Briggs) for over 51 wonderful years. They appreciated traveling and enjoyed summers in NJ, before moving to Florida where they could enjoy year-round warm weather.
Stan is pre-deceased by his first wife, Irene (Jablonski) who passed away in 1974 and his two beloved children, Stanley Jr and Theresa. He was also pre-deceased by his parents Andrew and Sally (Beres)Warhol, his brother Edmond Sr (Carmela), NJ and two sisters, Theresa Guirreri (Charles), OH and Caroline Pruscha, FL. He leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews as well.
Stan will always be remembered for his kind spirit, wonderful smile, a strong work ethic and his love for his family and friends.
