Stephen F. LeClair Sr, 62, passed away on February 4, 2020, in Homosassa, Florida. He is survived by Deborah, his wife of 38 years; his son Stephen F. LeClair Jr (Daisy), daughter Heather (Mark) Foley; Karinne Heinz, Lucas & Sierra LeClair; Alexis, Ashlyn & Weston Foley. He is also survived by his mother Collette (Emond) LeClair; brothers David (Joyce), Eugene, M. Peter (Cindy), Paul (Mary); several nieces, nephews, great nephews, great niece, aunts and uncle and several cousins. He is predeceased by his father Misael and sister Michelle (Alan) Silliker. Steve was born in Taunton, MA and graduated from Taunton High School in 1976. He worked at Shaw’s grocery store and later in his brother Eugene’s General Extinguisher Company. A resident of Homosassa since 1990, Steve was employed at Home Depot in Crystal River, FL. Steve loved his family and enjoyed building swing sets and other playground buildings for his grandchildren. After discovering how much he liked cruise trips, he spent happy days with his family on several of them. He especially enjoyed attending NASCAR races, Monster Jams and Red Sox games at Tropicana Field. Steve had an active role in his grandkids’ lives by attending many of their events. He faithfully played the Fantasy 5 Lotto Lottery every week and kept records of the winning numbers for many years, probably while munching on Chocolate M&M’s – his favorite food. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 17, 2020 from 12pm-1:30pm for immediate family and from 1:30pm-4pm for the general public at the Fero Funeral Home, 5955 North Lecanto Hwy, Beverly Hills, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House: RMHC of Central Florida, 1030 N. Orange Ave, Suite 105, Orlando, FL 32801.

My prayers and condolences to all the family. From the times that I spoke to Stephen I saw a kind quiet man and every time I went to Home Depot I looked him up and gave him a hug. R.I.P
