

Thomas “Tom” Adams, 76, of Beverly Hills, FL, passed on July 4, 2025, in the presence of his loving family.
Born on September 6, 1948, in Plymouth, Michigan, Tom was a military CTM3 veteran of the United States Navy. Tom was a devoted husband, father, and Tata, and friend to many.
Tom had a master's degree in electronic engineering which led to his passion of building computers. Tom’s greatest past times included flying and aviation, brewing beer, and spending time with his family. At the age of 15, Tom became the youngest disc jockey in Detroit, Michigan. Tom enjoyed telling his stories to all those that would listen, especially about his Porsche 911, traveling the world, and his time in the CIA and NSA were at the top of his list. Tom’s favorite color was orange; he spoke 9 languages and visited over 30 countries. Tom had a passion for serving, passed down from his parent’s passion in ministry. Tom helped build schools in Ecuador, provide resources for children in orphanages, and spreading the word of God to those areas of the world. Tom also studied the Bible thoroughly and could tell you any verse if you gave him the Book and Verse number.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Maggi Adams, his three beautiful daughters Annie Schillings (Shane), Laura Garcia (Adrian), and Veronica Crue (Barry). He is also survived by his amazing grandchildren, Thomas “Tommy” Garcia, Chandler Thomashunis Schillings, Camden Thomashunis Schillings, Olivia Garcia, Harper Crue, and Gabriel Garcia. Along with many more cherished family and friends.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents, George Quincy and Mary Lee Adams, his sisters, Jeanette Reader and Lois Bass, brother Don Lee Adams, and his son-in-law Christopher Lee Thomashunis.
Military honors service for Tom will take place on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida, with the United States Navy and American Legion Post #155 rendering the honors.
