Velma C Bayerle

Velma was born in New York City on April 14, 1924. She attended Hunter College, and after graduation went to work for J.P. Morgan Bank where she retired as a Loan Officer. She is a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Lecanto.

Velma was an active volunteer in many local organizations including the Beverly Hills Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, the Beverly Hills Neighborhood Surveillance Association and the Veterans Home in Gainsville.

Vel is survived by her niece Barbara (BB) Bayerle and her husband Tom Newbold of Kittery Point, Maine, great nephew Will Bayerle of Cape Cod, Ma. She was predeceased by her brother William H. Bayerle in 2010 and her nephew William R. Bayerle in 2011.

Vel traveled extensively throughout her life in the US and Europe. She also enjoyed travelling with friends on cruises.

Vel had a good and generous heart. She will be missed by many friends, both locally and around the country.

Friends may visit on Wednesday May 17, 2016 at the Fero Funeral Home 5955 N. Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, Fl. from 12 to 3 PM. Celebration of Velma’s Life will follow at 3 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any local VFW organization of choice.
