DONOHUE, Virginia Ann, 87, of Citrus Springs, Fl. passed away Feb. 18, 2014 at home while under the care of Hospice of Citrus County. A native of Brooklyn, N.Y. she came to the area in 1988 from Wantaugh, Long Island, N.Y. after her retirement from the Treasury Department (Customs Division) as a secretary. Her memberships and community activates include St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Citrus Springs Garden Club, and Citrus Springs Library volunteer.
Virginia was preceded in passing by her husband Francis and survivors include her 2 daughters, Christine Grover of Citrus Springs, Fl. and Barbara Esposito of Oxford, N.J.; 3 grandchildren, David, Debbie and Laura; 4 great-grandchildren, Tristyn, Sean, Daniel and Rhyan.
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated Saturday 9 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1401 W. Country Club Blvd. Citrus Springs, FL 34434. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 4 until 6 PM.
The family would like to extend their heart felt appreciation to Hospice of Citrus Co. and Granny NANNIES who have assisted Virginia over the last several months and years.
