Dearest Romese and family, I was back in Beaver Valley when Doris called me and told me of Olie's passing. I can't tell you how much I have always missed him. He was surely a mentor to me and my love of aviation. I miss his sense of humor and everything about him. Please take care Romese, it's hard to lose your mate of so many years.
Love to all of you,
Marsha

I'm so sorry that one of my favorite people in the whole wide world has passed away. I feel as though a big chunk of me went with him but a lot of fond memories remain. Much love and sympathy to his family.

My mom and I are so sorry to have missed Mr. Logan's funeral . He is a big part of our neighborhood memories ! Do I remember correctly that a helicopter landed in our circle ? He told me a story one time about when I was a little girl and my mom was looking for me . I was sitting on the back porch with him while he was smoking his pipe ! You know , I've always loved the smell of a pipe and after he told me that story , I know why . Good man . Good , good man .
