Dearest Romese and family, I was back in Beaver Valley when Doris called me and told me of Olie's passing. I can't tell you how much I have always missed him. He was surely a mentor to me and my love of aviation. I miss his sense of humor and everything about him. Please take care Romese, it's hard to lose your mate of so many years.
Love to all of you,
Marsha

My mom and I are so sorry to have missed Mr. Logan's funeral . He is a big part of our neighborhood memories ! Do I remember correctly that a helicopter landed in our circle ? He told me a story one time about when I was a little girl and my mom was looking for me . I was sitting on the back porch with him while he was smoking his pipe ! You know , I've always loved the smell of a pipe and after he told me that story , I know why . Good man . Good , good man .

To the entire Logan family - Romese, Kevin & Susan, Lisa & RJ, and all the grandkids. . . we are very sorry for your loss. Olie will be missed by many. I got to know him from the time I was 11 when Randy married into the Logan family. Olie always made me feel so welcome, put up with my teenage ways (I spent hours in their living room watching MTV when it first came out!), and humouring me with his charming, southern drawl. Olie will be missed by many. I imagine he's swapping stories with mine and RJ's dad Burt. Both good story tellers . . . Praying for you all in the coming days! Janice
