February 8, 1926- December 28, 2014 Mary Aileen Edwards Breed, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 28, 2014, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia. She was born on February 8, 1926 in Jefferson County, Alabama. Aileen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Breed; her parents, Almond and Della Edwards; her sister, Ruby Wright and her brother, Buddy Edwards. She is survived by her three children, Mary Breed Leaphart (Joe), Bobby Breed (Rozi) and Tina Breed Bryant (Jeff); four grandchildren, Angela Pittard, Kathy Vickio (Doug), Amy Vandiver (Jason), Jenney Byrd (Daniel); four great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. A celebration of her life will be held at John-Ridout’s Trussville Chapel on Tuesday, December 30th with visitation from 11am-12noon; service beginning at 12noon. Burial to follow at Forest Crest Cemetery.
