Barfoot, Alyssa Grace, 28, beloved daughter, passed from this life on Saturday, May 5, 2012. Alyssa attended Clay-Chalkville High School and graduated with honors from Virginia College. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Donald J. and Iris C. Lee, and her paternal grandmother, Eugenia K. Barfoot. Alyssa is survived by her parents, Henry and Daara Barfoot; her sister, Ivy (Brandon) Whitley; two nephews, Noah Whitley and Zachary Whitley; a large circle of loving family containing uncles, aunts and cousins; and her beloved cat, Peanut. Memorial service plans have not been finalized. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to any organization that fights drug abuse..
