Ann Bain Dean

Ann Bain Dean, age 84, passed away on February 26, 2023. She graduated from Carrollton High School in 1958 and attended Business College for one year. She worked as an administrative assistant in UAB’s Department of Psychiatry for over 30 years. She was a long term member of Irondale United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Box Bain and Bessie Beulah Brooks Bain; her brothers, Bobby Bain, Neal Bain, and Roy Bain; and her first husband, James Munroe. She is survived by her husband, Charles W. Dean; her step-daughters, Lisa Columbia and Leigh Ann Buzynski; her brothers, Billy Bain, Bryan Bain, and Gordon Bain; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 in the Chapel at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow the service at Forest Crest Cemetery.
