Anna Claire Henning

August 20, 1993- June 9, 2026

She is survived by her parents, David and Claire; sister, Daly (Riley); brother, Will (Taylor); niece, Bridget; and nephew, Wallace.

In 2004, at the age of 11, Anna had a large brain tumor removed. Unfortunately, due to an infection, she was in a coma for several months, and we didn’t think she would live. But by God’s grace, she did! Despite having to relearn how to talk, perform basic tasks, and a myriad of other things we take for granted, Anna tackled the challenge with courage.

Anna loved going to church at Christ Community Presbyterian in Springville, AL and found joy in scripture and praying for others. Her spirit of kindness lifted everyone who had the pleasure of knowing or meeting her. She loved chatting with friends and family, as well as encouraging everyone with a compliment- even strangers.

She delighted in her beloved pets over the years, and would always make sure that she shared her yogurt or snacks with them. Her heart for animals was one of the many precious things we love and will miss about Anna.
