Anneliese was born in Bad Koenig, Germany, where she met and married James Parr on March 13, 1958. She moved to Birmingham, Alabama in November of 1958. She owned and operated Annelieses’s Alterations until 1992 when surgery on her hands made it difficult to work at her chosen profession.
Survivors include her husband James Parr; daughter Ingrid Lovell (Terry); grandsons Christopher Lovell (Stephanie) and Adam Lovell (Miranda); three great-grandchildren Brody Lovell, Brantley Lovell and Avery Lovell; sister-in-law Ada Taylor of Leeds; brothers Fritz Baumann and Karlheinz Baumann of Germany; sister Hannelore Klauser of Germany; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Services was held at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel Sunday, November 22, 2015. Donations should be sent to Brother Bryan Mission or Jimmie Hale Mission.
