Annie H. Robinson, 93, passed away on May 1, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Larkin and Jewell Howell, and 12 siblings; her beloved husband, J.B. Robinson, Jr.; her daughter, Sharon Robinson; and grandson, Jason Bailey. She leaves behind her grandson, Philip Bailey (Molly); great grandchildren, Cooper, Wallace, Beau, Katelyn, and Hallie; and a great-great grandchild on the way.
Nanny as she was affectionally known to her grandchildren loved her family. She was ready to share a story of her childhood as 1 of 13 children, and ready to make her family smile. She was dearly loved and will be missed. She was known to be a very strong person. She survived the passing of her parents, siblings, husband, daughter, and grandson, as well as surviving breast cancer twice. Her solid faith and strength are what got her through all of these times.
She was a member of Fairfield Highlands Baptist Church for many years. Annie retired from The Lloyd Noland Group. For the last few years of her life, she was resident at Ridgeview Health Services, where she leaves behind many dear friends that she made there.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 10 am until 11 am at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation in her memory to the Susan G. Komen organization for breast cancer research.
