Barbara M. Daniel

Barbara M. Daniel, age 76, of Mount Olive, Alabama passed away on Wednesday January 8, 2020. Barbara was born June 11, 1943. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Blonnie Morgan; sisters, Billie Morgan Epperson, Marilyn Morgan and Rae Morgan; grandson, William Bradley Daniel. She is survived by sons, Bill Daniel (Dana), Shane Daniel (Leslie); grandchildren, Blake Daniel (Kelly), Haley Fulmer (Zach), Wesley Daniel; great grandchildren, Alice Claire Daniel and Jackson Daniel Fulmer; sisters, Doris Gillean (Jimbo) and Bonnie Cooke and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She retired from At&t after 30 years of service. Barbara was a volunteer with the Red Cross and served in New York during the 911 attacks. She was a wonderful mother and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and other family members.

The family will receive friends for Barbara on Sunday, January 12, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Ave S.W., Birmingham, AL 35211 with a Celebration of Life Service following at 2:00 PM. A burial will occur at Elmwood Cemetery & Mausoleum, 600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, Alabama 35211.
