Barbara “Joan” Parker, age 81 of Birmingham, AL passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 with her family by her side. She was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Joan retired from Regions Bank after many years of service. She was a member of Eastern Valley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph “Don” Parker. She is survived by her daughter, Lyndia Cole Callaway and her husband, Joe; grandchildren, Ricky Callaway and David Callaway and wife, Emily; and a great grandson, Drake Callaway.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Forest Crest Cemetery beginning at 11 AM.
