MILLER, BERNARD JOSEPH of Birmingham passed away October 13, 2011 at the age of 83. Preceded in death by his parents John and Antoinette Serio Miller; sister, Mary Rowell. Mr. Miller worked at U.S. Steel for 40 years. Survived by his wife Concetta Miller (Caldarello); son, Johnny Miller; daughters, Antoinette Miller Woodard (Mark) and Lena Miller Wade (Darrin); four grandchildren, Marcus Woodard, Zachary Wade, Hope Wade, and Nolyn Bittle; one brother, John Miller; sisters, Frances Burnett, Rose Meadows, and Gloria Wadsworth (Joe); and many nieces and nephews. Many thanks to New Beacon Hospice nurses and caregivers; Doctors Rosemore and Garcia. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 16, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 pm with Wake Service at 7:00 pm at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am Monday, October 17, at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham
