Betty Joyce Brumbeloe

Betty Joyce Brumbeloe, affectionately known as, “Mama Joyce”, age 84, of Center Point, AL passed away on February 10, 2024. She was born in Kentucky to Frank Underwood and Irene Tipton Underwood on February 12, 1939. She was a devout Christian and long-time member of Huffman Church of Christ. She retired from Ryder Truck Rental and enjoyed being an active member of her community.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Shirley Underwood Dunn; her great grandson, Cody Cole and a nephew, Eddie Dunn. Joyce is survived by her son, Michael Brumbeloe, Sr. (Susan) and her daughter, Tina Marie Howard (Eugene); three grandchildren, Michael Brumbeloe, Jr., Jessica Brumbeloe, Erika Davlin (Jeff); nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She also leaves behind a brother, Jim Underwood (Janet).

A Celebration of Life Service for Joyce will be held at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel on Friday, February 16th, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation for family and friends held one hour prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow the chapel service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, AL with Preacher Paddy Kendall-Ball is officiating.
