Burke, Betty Wiggin, age 81, of Birmingham, AL went home to be with the Lord on January 18, 2012. She was a wonderful Christian wife and mother. She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, Eastside Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Trussville. She was very active member with every church she attended. She did volunteer work at St. Vincent's East with the Physical Therapy Department. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, W. B. Burke; brothers, Stewart Wiggin, George Wiggin, Sr. and Bob Wiggin. She is survived by daughters, Debbie (Steve) Waid, Cathy (Tommy) Wright and Bonnie (Charlie) Lewis; son, Woody (Cheri) Burke; sisters, Mary Lou Windham and Teeny Sparks; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Funeral service will be Friday, January 20, 2012 at 11 AM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial.
