BYNUM, BETTY, age 62, of Birmingham, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Zora Tidwell; brothers, Harold Tidwell, James Tidwell, and Willie and Bonnie Tidwell; and brother-in-law, Rodney Sibert. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Whittington; granddaughter, Hannah Whittington; brothers, Verlon Tidwell, Wayne Tidwell (Joyce), J.P. Tidwell (Noel), and Ronald Tidwell (Juanita); sisters, Edna Sibert and Linda Johnston (Rick); sister-in-law, Maxine Tidwell; and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was a devout Christian "Praise God". Her family will receive friends on Monday, July 5, 2010 from 5-7 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Her service will be at the chapel on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 beginning at 11 AM with Pastor Donny Ingram officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery.
