Betty Sue Tisdale

Betty Sue Tisdale, 79, of Pinson Alabama passed away March 23 2013. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She will long be remembered by all who knew her as a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. Her most enduring quality was that of a quiet and humble servant who never passed on an opportunity to care and minister to those placed in her path.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles W. Tisdale, Jr. along with their children, Timothy C. Tisdale (Beverly), Jennifer S. Phillips (Robbin), and Miriam A. Archer (Scott). Grandchildren Roxanne Cox (Pete Rubel), Trent Tisdale, Riana Tisdale, Sam Tisdale, Beth Barton (Jonathan), Derek Phillips (Laura), Lacey Arnold, David Arnold (Kelly), Emily Palmore (Steven), Andrew Archer, Katie Archer and Anna Archer. Great grandchildren Jacob Cox, Maggie Barton, and Mollie Barton. Sisters Ann Doss (Marshall), Peggy Franklin (Steve), and Carol Popee (Ted). Brothers Frank McLendon (Jere), Paul McLendon, and Bobby McLendon (Linda) along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday March 26 from 6pm to 8pm at Ridouts Trussville Chapel. Services will be Wednesday March 27 at 11am at Ridouts Trussville Chapel with interment to follow at 2pm at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo Alabama. Reverend Johnny Kilgore will officiate with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
