Betty Faye Touchton

Betty was a simple woman, always wearing a smile and maintaining a heart of gratitude for the blessings from above. She was a loving mother who always wanted nothing but the best for her children. She raised them in church and poured Christ’s love into them daily.

Betty was a believer in Jesus Christ and remained steadfast in her faith. She always remained active in her church, attending Sunday school, singing in the choir and volunteering during VBS. She never turned down the opportunity to serve in God's Kingdom.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 46 years, Wilton Touchton; a son, Glenn Edward Touchton and a grandson, Kevin James Touchton.

She is survived by her son, Wilton Touchton, Jr. (Jerry); daughter, Betty Touchton Dalacos (Bill) and their fur babies that she adored; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and 2 great-great Grandchildren. She also leaves behind a sister and numerous nieces, nephews and her church family.

A graveside service for Betty will be held on Monday, June 1st at Ridout’s Forest Hill Cemetery located at 431 60th Street N Birmingham, AL 35212 at 1:00 p.m. A visitation for family and friends will be from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Ridout’s Trussville at 1500 Gadsden Hwy Birmingham, AL 35235.
