Billie retired after working for 52 years at US Steel. She was a beloved mother and grandmother. Billie was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald W. McCullar, her parents and her sister.
She is survived by sons Steve Cagle of Austin, Texas, and Kevin McCullar of Calera, Alabama; as well as bonus daughters Terri Guiles and Karen Guiles of Baytown, Texas. She is also survived by grandchildren - Carla Oliver (Chris Proctor) of Cypress, Texas; Brandon Guiles (Angie Guiles), Kenda Wilson (Brad Wilson) of Baytown, Texas, and Caleb Guiles (Terri L. Guiles) of Magnolia, TX. Great grandsons are Gage Oliver (Lauren Oliver) of Mount Belvieu, Texas, Drake and Wyatt Wilson of Baytown, TX and Beau Guiles of Magnolia, Texas. Great granddaughters are Aden and Adley Guiles of Baytown, Texas. Great great grandson is Noah Oliver of Mount Belvieu, Texas.
Billie was a very involved mother. She never missed a hockey game or any other activity in which her children were participating. She was a big presence in her son Kevin’s acting career and son Steve’s hockey coaching career. Everyone who met Billie loved her dearly. She will be missed here on earth, but her family finds peace in knowing she is now in Heaven reunited with loved ones.
Services for Billie McCullar will be held at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel (800 Dennison Ave SW Birmingham, AL 35211) on Tuesday, January 6, 2025 with visitation from 1:00 - 2:00 pm followed by a 2 pm service. Service will be lead by Pastor Lane Thompson. She will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery & Mausoleum.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Denard , Todd Humphries , Mike Ray, Lance Harless, Frank Paris and Mike Campbell
