Billy Ray Land, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. He is survived by three loving siblings, Birl J. “BJ” Land, Inez Land Lauminick, and Donnie Shaw (Martha), all of Birmingham and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Billy was a 1968 graduate of Glenn High Scholl and loved the Skate Races at Lowe’s Skating Rink. He was a member of American Legion Post 171.
The family wishes to thank the Birmingham East Nursing and Rehab staff and Southern Care Hospice employees for their loving and compassionate care.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with the service to follow at 10:00 am. The interment will be in Sunrise Memory Gardens in Pinson.
