Billy S Little

Billy S. Little, 82 years old of Midfield, AL and residing in Brookwood, AL, passed away on October 13, 2023 with his family by his side. Born December 5th, 1940 in Cullman, AL to Grady M. Little and Gerdie Nell Little, he is preceded in death by his brothers Jerry Little and Johnny Little, and his loving wife Sara. Billy is survived by his sisters Carol Little Wright of Marianna, FL and Jenny Little Keith of Murphy, NC, his 4 children, Randy A. Little (wife Christy) of Brookwood, AL, Mary Ann Brown (husband Rick) of Pace, FL, Grady Brant Little (wife Angel) of Madison, AL, Andy Little (dog Skitz), his beloved dog Cady and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A graduate of Jones Valley High School in Birmingham, Billy was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of 6 years and worked as a sheet metal mechanical engineer from early adulthood until retirement. His hobbies included hunting (life long member of Beasley Hunting Club), fishing, gunsmithing, and competitive shooting. He was an avid reader of science fiction and western novels.

Services will be at Ridout-Trussville, AL on Saturday October, 21, 2023 with visitation and viewing from 11 am to 1 pm and funeral services starting at 1 pm. Burial will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery in Birmingham, AL.
